Kids. They love to party all night. And then they love to party all day too. Where do they get the energy?
So if your bambinos are running you ragged and you feel like a chewed up old shoe, we have some insider secrets to help you feel like yourself again in no time!
1. GO FOR GLOW
Apply a highlighter or an illuminiser to the high points of your face, along with a touch on your brow bone. You can use a brush or your finger for this. A brush works best for powder, and your fingers for a cream product, so keep this mind. Always add the tiniest amount of highlight to the tip of your nose for a hot mama look.
2. OPEN YOUR EYES
Open up your eyes by using an eyelash curler, and swirl some mascara on for wider more awake eyes. You can use a lengthening mascara, or a volumising one, or both!
3. PERFECT YOUR SKIN
Apply a BB cream or powder foundation swiftly and quickly – bonus points if you use your fingers. You’ll look fresh and dewy.
4. MOISTURISE
Begin with applying a healthy dose of moisturiser and don’t be afraid to mix in some face oil for an extra glow. Being tired can leave you with the appearance of dry or sallow skin, and hydrated skin equals gorgeous skin. Try a Rosehip or Jojoba Oil.
5. ROCK A LIPLINER
Apply some lipliner to your entire lips and swipe on a clear lipgloss – simple but very effective. Try a nude shade that is similar to your natural lip colour, so you won’t have to reapply for hours!
6. HAIR UP + GO!
Pull your hair up into a stylish top bun or a sleek pony tail, pop a bottle of H2O into your handbag and take on the world!
Just a few little #mumhacks to help you feel like yourself again. It’s important to look after YOU, babe!
