If all you want for Mother’s Day is some peace and quiet, you’re not alone (see what we did there?). Time to jump on the sleep tourism trend.
By Mama Disrupt®
Say hello to the new era of travel. It’s called sleep tourism and it sounds like absolute bliss, doesn’t it?
Booking.com shared their 2024 Travel Predictions with us, and said that 55% of travellers want to solely focus on uninterrupted shut-eye in their travel.
Think cloud-like beds, blackout curtains, and no interruptions … at all.
And with some of the most sleep-deprived being mothers (no surprises there), 50% of parents are actually seeking solace on a completely solo holiday. Yep, that’s right, they’re packing a bag-for-one, leaving the kids with their partner and prioritising themselves.
You go Glen Coco!
If you’re dreaming of a lone ranger vacation, here’s a little sneak at some of the most popular pads being booked for some magical me-time.
