If you’re a fan of cool kids’ labels and happy-inducing threads for your little ones, then you will defo want to get acquainted with Oishi-m’s high summer range, “Sea of Colour”.
Famed for a small-production run of gorgeous children’s clothes that are designed in Torquay (and largely) made in nearby Melbourne, Oishi-m has a community-minded approach to business being a certified B Corp Business (companies who meet standards of verified social and environmental performance, transparency and accountability).
The team of incredible mamas behind Oishi-m (who live an enviable surfer lifestyle in gorgeous Torquay), create limited-edition, super-cute pieces for little boys and girls.
The brand mixes vintage, retro and kimono fabrics together with light denim and super-soft cottons resulting in a fun range of comfy clothes for kids.
“Oishi-m was the result, Oishi = yummy in Japanese and m = for the mini one in your life,” the brand reveals.
And the new Sea of Colour range celebrates this beautiful ethos.
“Just like nature’s mass of colour, this season is bursting with personality and spirit,” they label says.
“There’s a balance of bold bright prints, like the yellow pineapple print and aloha banana palms, a neon leaf print, Hawaiian watercolour STOF fabric, and a farmgate rose floral yardage.”
There’s also a selection of more muted pieces with sorbets, creamy pinks, 100’s and 1000’s fleck French terry fleece, light chambray and banana yellow to calm the senses.
“Festooned in flowers, we’ve got something for every little ray of sunshine,” says the brand.
