Hold onto your hats, mamas! Yes, you read that right. The new Fox pram by Bugaboo has a secret weapon. The kind of weapon all mamas will want in their motherhood arsenal.
Say hello to one-hand steering thanks to the Fox’s rear suspension. Can we have a, “Yes, please!”?
Three years in the making, the senior product developer at Bugaboo, Marco Nieuwenhuizen, says the Fox is a big leap forward in pram design.
“Eliminating all play from the stroller, and adding rear suspension, makes it easier for parents to maneuver the stroller, without sacrificing on comfort for the parent and child. The fact that it’s a very strong and sturdy stroller, but only weighs 9.9kg is also a notable development.”
Rear suspension and lightweight? These are not the only tricks up this pram’s “sleeve”. Here we’ll walk (or should be say stroller) you through our fave features.

Welcome to getting the pram in and out of the car with ease. As Bugaboo’s senior product developer, Marco Nieuwenhuizen, mentioned, one of the reasons the design of this new pram is so great is because it comes in at 9.9kg. And it DOES NOT forgo on safety, quality or the features you love.
“Creating a pram that is sturdy and lightweight comes down to a combination of clever engineering and design,” explains Marco Nieuwenhuizen. “It takes a lot of calculations to get it just right.”
// Cleverly compact
The Fox had us at the words, “one-piece fold from a central button”. Need we say more? But incase we didn’t make it clear; you can fold this pram using one hand! What’s more, it’s so compact that when it’s folded the dimensions are 46 x 60 x 88cm – and that’s folding it in one piece, without removing any parts.
// Sustainable AND stylish
Available in a wide range of colours, you can easily create a new look with your pram by updating the fabric elements each season (and by the way, they are machine washable, too). And lastly, but by no means least, the Bugaboo Fox is as sustainable as it is stylish. The main material used to create the pram is made from 92 recycled PET bottles.
