How to do it all? It’s a question we ask ourselves all the time because of the societal pressure to do it all and be it all. Well guess what – it is actually impossible. But here are a few things you can do to help make #mumlife a bit easier.

Finding time to do it all when you’re a mum can be challenging. If we had more arms, maybe. Cloning could also be useful.
But with effective planning, prioritisation, and self-care, it is actually possible to create a more balanced life.
Here are some tips to help you manage your time and responsibilities:
1. Prioritise tasks
Determine which tasks are most important to you and your family. Focus on these first, and let go of less important activities. Remember, it’s ok to say no to some things to make room for what truly matters.
Plan out your day or week, allocating time for essential tasks, including work, family, and personal time. Be realistic about the time you have available and be prepared to adjust your schedule as needed.
3. Delegate, delegate, delegate
Don’t be afraid to ask for help from your partner, family, or friends. Share responsibilities and chores to reduce your workload and create more time for the things you love.
4. Organise your home
A well-organised home can save you time and energy. Keep things tidy [as best you can] and create systems for managing household tasks, such as meal planning, laundry, and cleaning. Decluttering your home also helps declutter your mama mind.
5. Establish routines
Create morning and evening routines that streamline your day and help you stay organised. This can also provide a sense of stability and predictability for your children.
6. Embrace technology
Use apps and tools to help you manage your time, such as online calendars, reminders, and to-do lists.
7. Multi-task strategically
Combine activities that can be done simultaneously, such as listening to a podcast while cooking or exercising while watching your child’s sports practice.
8. Set boundaries
Set boundaries around work and personal time to ensure you maintain a healthy balance. Communicate your needs with your partner and others around you.
9. Practice self-care
Make time for yourself and prioritise your wellbeing. Exercise, engage in hobbies, and nurture your relationships to recharge and maintain your mental and emotional health.
10. Be flexible
Life is unpredictable, especially when you’re a mum. Be prepared to adapt your schedule and plans as needed, and don’t be too hard on yourself when things don’t go as planned.
Remember, it’s so important to find a balance that works for you and your family. It may take some trial and error, but with persistence, you’ll be able to create a manageable routine that will make #mumlife so much easier [and you will be happier].
